He indicted former FBI Director James Comey over a photo of seashells, prosecuted the Southern Poverty Law Center for dubious claims of “manufacturing racism,” purged hundreds of career DOJ lawyers, and brokered the corrupt IRS immunity deal that would have shielded Trump and his family from all current and future audits. Blanche botched the release of the Epstein files, exposing survivors’ names while redacting Trump’s; moved Epstein’s partner Ghislaine Maxwell to a minimum security prison; and proposed a $1.8 billion slush fund to pay off Trump’s MAGA allies — a scheme so corrupt that Senate Republicans revolted and a federal court blocked it. The Attorney General works for the American people, not for one man. Blanche needs a simple majority to be confirmed.
