There is still time to pass a People's Budget

The Senate majority’s budget proposal sacrifices education and family economic security to pay for more tax cuts that primarily benefit the wealthy. Legislators have been cutting taxes for more than two decades, yet in that time the economic reality for working Ohioans has been worse than the national average across any number of metrics. More tax cuts for the wealthy don’t help — in fact they do a lot of harm, siphoning off $8 billion a year that could otherwise be used to reduce infant and maternal mortality, improve mental health services, expand child care, and make sure every kid has a public school that sets them up for a brighter future. There is still time to urge your legislators to pass a People’s Budget for Ohio! A letter from a constituent can have a real effect. Thank you for writing.
