Tell the Monroe County Capital Improvement Board: Don't Destroy Seminary Pointe!

Seminary Pointe is 29 units of affordable housing in downtown Bloomington. The tenants need that affordable housing, but the county is refusing to renew their leases, which end on July 1. Neither the County Council nor the County Commission has announced any concrete plans for the block. The Capital Improvement Board could easily save this affordable housing, rather than turn this land into a parking lot for the convention center. Tell the CIB: 1. Don't diplace the current tenants. 2. Don't destroy the structurally sound buildings. 3. Transfer the block to a local grassroots organization that can ensure permanent affordable housing.
