However, the Preliminary Budget leaves out funding for other important education programs that are currently benefiting thousands of NYC students and families. These programs — which include Learning to Work; Sensory Exploration, Education & Discovery (SEED); restorative justice; immigrant family communications and outreach; and more — are funded with dollars set to expire on June 30th and are, therefore, at risk of being rolled back or eliminated as soon as this July unless city leaders act.
