The House Resolution Standing with the People of Lebanon Against the Illegal Invasion, War Crimes, and Ethnic Cleansing Perpetrated by the State of Israel calls on the United States to use its immense leverage to force an end to the Israeli military invasion, reject threats of territorial expansion and the illegal occupation of Lebanese territory, investigate and prosecute war crimes, end U.S. support and participation in this invasion, deliver unconditional humanitarian and reconstruction aid, extend Temporary Protected Status for Lebanese nationals in the United States, and support the safe and inalienable right of return of all displaced Lebanese to their homes. The Lebanon War Powers Resolution, co-led by Congresswoman Delia Ramirez (IL-03), orders the removal of all U.S. Armed Forces’ participation in unauthorized hostilities in Lebanon, including involvement in targeting assistance and intelligence sharing for the Israeli airstrikes and ground invasion.
