However, e-bikes can be expensive and many families struggle to afford them. NY already subsidizes Electric Vehicles and we're asking you to demand your legislator support using that funding for E-bikes as well. NYSERDA can use its existing funding to help families afford e-bikes with a rebate at the point of sale. We’ve introduced a bill to direct NYSERDA to create a Ride Clean e-bike program which wouldn't require new funding and would help working New Yorkers move around. https://nyrideclean.org
