Right now, the Department of Interior is finalizing a set of regulations that decidedly weaken and undermine the Endangered Species Act. These changes will make it more difficult to list species under the Act and will reduce protections afforded to nearly all wildlife and plants in order to benefit industry interests. We need governors to strongly oppose these changes and to make it clear that they support the Endangered Species Act. Please ask Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to oppose the administration's revisions to the Endangered Species Act.
