Stop school overcrowding!

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

According to the DOE’s own data, more than 500,000 public school students are crammed into overcrowded NYC schools. The increased number of 3K, preK and co-located charter school students in our schools have merely made the problem worse. Meanwhile, NYC’s overall population is growing fast and there is a residential building boom in every borough. Please send a letter to keep the Mayor accountable on the promise that he made in May 2016 to fully fund the five-year capital plan for school construction to be released this fall, so that every school seat for which the DOE projects a need is funded, based on current overcrowding & projected future growth.
