FedEx Pfizer Reject Project 2025

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), a group that counts corporate giants FedEx and Pfizer among its funders, has thrown its weight behind the cruel and unconstitutional Project 2025 -- Trump’s plan for dictatorship starting on day one. Project 2025 is a blueprint for terror in immigrant communities nationwide. In just the first year, Project 2025 aims to round up over 1 million undocumented immigrants into deportation camps, with the ultimate goal of separating 7 million family members within 4 years. The proposal would also end birthright citizenship -- a bedrock of constitutional protection and rights -- while promoting vicious stereotyping of Latino immigrants as criminals and terrorists. And that’s just immigration, the plan attacks education, abortion rights, and any attempt to fight the climate crisis, while also defunding the FBI and refocusing the Justice Department on prosecuting Trump’s political enemies. The list goes on. Financing ALEC, and its support for Trump’s Project 2025, is utterly unacceptable for any responsible corporation. Yet that is exactly what FedEx and Pfizer are doing. The path forward is clear. We must demand that FedEx and Pfizer: Publicly Denounce Project 2025: Clearly and unequivocally reject the inhumane policies proposed by Project 2025. Silence is complicity, and a public denouncement is necessary to distance themselves from this harmful agenda. Sever Ties with ALEC: Immediately cease all funding and support for ALEC. It is unacceptable for any American corporation to be associated with an organization that advocates for the end of American democracy and the implementation of hateful, bigoted and xenophobic policies. Commit to Ethical Practices: Reaffirm their commitment to ethical business practices and human rights. This includes engaging in transparent dialogue with stakeholders and ensuring that their actions reflect their stated values. As customers and concerned citizens, we have the power to hold these companies accountable and demand they stand up for decency. Click ‘START WRITING’ and tell FedEx and Pfizer to reject Project 2025 and stop funding ALEC now.
