Girls Day Schools Trust

Girls’ Day Schools Trust (GDST) has put forward a proposal that would see all teaching staff taken out of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS) and moved to a scheme that would see retirement benefits for teachers very substantially impacted. We believe that such reductions in staff benefits will mean many high-quality teachers and leaders leaving the organisation to protect their incomes in retirement and will damage the ability of the schools to recruit and retain quality teachers in future. We are calling on GDST parents to write to GDST using this tool and send a letter to the CEO of the trust Cheryl Giovannoni and the Chair of Trustees Juliet Humphries to express your concern about these proposals.
