Officers at HMP Wakefield have denied Dwayne access to his property, although he has been in the prison for almost a month. This includes Dwayne's clothes, stationery (vital to stay in contact with support outside) and reading materials (necessary for survival when imprisoned in solitary confinement). Without doubt the prison are withholding Dwayne's property as a form of psychological torture.
