You can click the links below to go to a bill's homepage on the Oregon Legislative Information System (OLIS). From that homepage, you can sign up for bill updates, see whether the bill is scheduled for a public hearing in a committee that is open for written testimony, and submit your messages of support there. You can also send emails to the individual committee members who will be holding the public hearing. Law Enforcement Accountability & Visibility (HB 4138): Expand existing masking and officer identification law to include all law enforcement officers in Oregon Safeguarding Students and Families (HB 4079): Require Oregon schools to notify parents, students, and faculty if ICE is present on school grounds Protect your Door (HB 4114): Grants individuals the right to sue federal agents in state court for unlawful entry, search, or seizure in violation of the 4th Amendment Anti-Discrimination Protections for Immigrant Workers (HB 4111): Evidence of a party's or a witness's immigration status is not admissible as evidence in a civil proceeding UREP & Children's Stability Fund (HB 4117): Appropriates moneys from the General Fund to Oregon's Universal Representation Fund for legal services to all eligible immigrants in Oregon Protections from ICE in Healthcare Settings (SB 1570): Affirms patient and provider rights and policies under existing Oregon laws Right to Remedy Federal Civil Rights Violations (SB 1563A): Ensures that Oregonians have a meaningful remedy when their United States Constitutional Rights, specifically First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendment Rights, have been violated by government officials acting "under color of law." Next step: We've set up an email template to send an email to all Oregon Senators on the next page to let them know about bills that are coming over from the House that need their support. Feel free to send the message as is with a simple click, or edit that message or target your email to specific Senators. If you have questions about any of this, contact my office and we will be happy to help you out. _____________________________________________ Office of Senator Khanh Pham Sen.KhanhPham@OregonLegislature.gov https://www.oregonlegislature.gov/pham 900 Court St. NE, S-407 Salem, Oregon 97301 503-986-1550
