We've heard from trusted sources that the UNCA Millennial Campus Commission is soon to be announced. It's likely none of our members or anyone we know is going to be on it. The UNCA Executive & Governance Committee of Board of Trustees has called a special virtual meeting Wednesday January 21, 2026, at 3 PM. We don't know if it's related to the commission or the UNCA woods. We cannot stand idly by while a group of supposed "experts" with no ties to or interest in our community works to add a veneer of credibility to UNCA's dreadful plans.
