Our contract expired in April 2023. We reached an agreement on a successor contract in April 2024. The agreement included increases in wages, commissions, bonuses and other benefits. Such increases would be retroactive to April 2023. The starting rate for hourly employees was $17.05 in 2023. After negotiating wage increases (4% for 2023, 2024 and 2025) the overwhelming majority of us, hundreds of employees, are still making $17.05 per hour. How is that fair? After many months of contacting various figureheads at the company to no avail, we have filed for arbitration. Instead of giving us what was agreed to, the company adjourned the arbitration case. By failing to abide by our collective bargaining agreement and pay us the living wages we mutually agreed to at the bargaining table, Legends Hospitality at Yankee Stadium is committing wage theft. We demand that the company live up to the agreement and start paying us, its employees, our fair wages. Nuestro contrato expiro en abril 2023. Nosotros llegamos a un acuerdo con un contrato sucesor en abril 2024. El acuerdo incluyo aumento de salarios, comisiones, bonus, y otros beneficios, como aumentos retroactivos a abril 2023. En vez de darnos lo que habíamos acordado, la compañía suspendió el caso de arbitraje. Al no cumplir con nuestro acuerdo de negociación y pagarnos el salario acordado mutuamente en la mesa de negociaciones, Legends del Yankee Stadium esta cometiendo robo de salarios.
