Letter to Congress

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

We call on Congress to halt any additional funding for DHS unless it fully cooperates with independent investigations and ends unconstitutional, warrantless arrests and home entries by ICE and CBP. Lawmakers must require judicial warrants for stops, arrests, and entry into private residences, reinstate access to bond hearings, and reject funding for detention contracts that fuel record-high incarceration. Enforcement must be restricted at sensitive locations so families can access schools, hospitals, places of worship, and courts without fear. With DHS already receiving $170 billion in recent funding, Congress must ACT NOW to protect due process, human rights, and community safety—not expand a system that continues to cause harm.
