No to School Vouchers- Defeat SB 130

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

Senate Bill 130 would be the most expansive, unaccountable, Wild West voucher program in the nation—and the most harmful for children and families (and taxpayers, who’d see property taxes soar). The House version known as HB 20 was retained by the Education Committee since there were so many problems with the bill including the costs and impact on local school districts. The first year of the proposed voucher plan could cost the state up to one-hundred million dollars based on current students not enrolled in public school. School funding is seriously at risk and this plan would be a further blow to our public schools. Public dollars should go to public schools.
