This bill seeks to roll back the advancements made in restoration of voting rights for people with past felony convictions by introducing a new Constitutional amendment adding "election fraud" as a special felony with no possibility of rights restoration. Further this bill returns us to the five year waiting period for people with "violent" felony convictions and again requires restoration by the Governor. Your vote should be something that government cannot take away.  It's time to just say no to the idea that voting is a privilege to be granted to some class or subclass of Virginians at will.
