The Farm Workforce Modernization Act is not the answer. The Farm Workforce Modernization Act will expose agricultural workers to further exploitation while making it harder to organize. The bill: *introduces a limited and complicated path to legal status for farmworkers *expands an already exploitative H-2A program without necessary oversight *unfairly makes the E-Verify mandatory for the entire agricultural industry.
