Pioneer Square Historic Board Meeting

Next Wednesday, the Pioneer Square Preservation Board is set to discuss commenting on Alexis Mercedes Rinck's amendment (approved in committee last month but awaiting final approval) that will give the City Traffic Engineer the power to act to make streets safer without first asking the historic board for permission. This amendment was introduced to allow the City Traffic Engineer and by extension SDOT the ability to act in the best interest of safety for our friends, family, and neighbors. We want to encourage the Pioneer Square Preservation Board to take a supportive stance of this amendment and make it clear that they support our cities goal of zero serious injuries or deaths on our streets!
