The goal was to have these issues resolved by November 30.   Now that the elections are over, and the Senate and House majorities are settled, the Joint Committee is beginning to openly consider different proposals.   While negotiations continue, a draft plan has been circulated that punishes multi-employer pension plans that made responsible sacrifices years ago to ensure the long term health of our program. The politicians drafting the proposed plan are looking to bail out other endangered plans on the backs of plans such as ours which did nothing but sacrifice for the long term benefit of current and future retired members.
