We are asking the Ohio General Assembly to quickly enact measures to protect current and future elections. Our demands include that they: Mail a postage-paid ballot to every Ohio voter for the 2020 elections, and take other actions to make sure vote-by-mail in Ohio is more robust and accessible; Ensure Ohio’s 88 Boards of Election have the physical and financial resources they need to hold a primarily vote-by-mail election this year, and in future years if needed; Require boards of elections to have Election Administration Plans every year that include emergency planning, and create an Emergency Elections Task Force able to make decisions about election administration during a crisis.
