Mahmoud Khalil, a green card holder, was abducted and disappeared for days, no contact with his lawyer or pregnant wife. Tufts doctoral student Rumeysa Ozturk was arrested on her way to break her fast during Ramadan. Her visa was revoked without due process, and she was transferred across the country in violation of a judge's orders. This is not immigration enforcement, it is political punishment. We demand that Congress immediately: Call the heads of DHS, ICE, and CBP to testify before Congress. Launch an investigation into politically motivated arrests and visa revocations. Demand the release of students and activists being held for political reasons. This action alone won’t free them, but it will show our elected officials that we see what’s happening and we will not stay silent.
