<description>Send our film ‘Bus-ted’ to Devon County Council. Struggling to catch a bus? You’re not alone. Hi, we’re Tash and Emma - two young climate activists and creatives from Devon. We made a short film, Bus-ted, in Exeter exploring the intersection of climate change, health, and public transport. But at its heart, it’s about something simple: how the completely unreliable bus services in Exeter and Devon are making everyday life harder for all of us. ‘How can we fight for a better world when we can’t even rely on a ride to work?’ We spoke to bus users on the street and gathered the voices of local residents through community workshops. The stories we heard were clear: buses are late, canceled, or too expensive, leaving people stranded - whether it’s getting to work, school, hospital appointments, or just seeing friends. Public transport should be a lifeline, not a constant source of stress. Bus-ted is part of a national project with In Place of War, supporting young changemakers tackling local climate issues across the country. In May, we’ll be taking our film to the House of Commons, using it to push for real change from those in power. But we need to show decision-makers that this issue matters to their constituents - that’s where you come in. We’re aiming for 100+ local residents to email our film to Devon County Council to demand urgent investment in a reliable, affordable bus network. Will you join us? Whether you’re an activist, an artist, a commuter, or just someone who’s waited too long for a bus - this is your chance to be heard, get creative, and help drive change. 📧 Email our film to Devon County Council in under 2 minutes! 1.
