The House and Senate have both introduced the Accessible, Affordable Internet for All Act which will bring affordable high-speed internet to everyone, focusing primarily on low-income communities. The Accessible, Affordable Internet for All Act will: - deploy broadband infrastructure nationwide, prioritizing unserved and underserved communities; - authorize spending on a program to provide low-interest financing for broadband infrastructure projects; - provide additional funding to the Emergency Broadband Benefit which provides discounts on energy plans for low-income Americans as well as customers on tribal lands; and, - expand funding for the Emergency Connectivity Fund which helps students who can access broadband but cannot afford it. Sign on now to be a co-sponsor on the Accessible, Affordable Internet for All Act and demand universal internet access for every American!
