Stop the Apprentice Reboot with Don Jr.

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

Amazon is discussing a reboot of The Apprentice, with Donald Trump Jr. floated as a possible host. Amazon says the project is not in active development, which means the public has a chance to stop it before it becomes real. This is the same show that helped turn Donald Trump’s fake business persona into a national political weapon. Reviving it now, with Don Jr. potentially at the center, would hand the Trump family another platform, another brand boost, and potentially another financial benefit. Amazon has already gone out of its way to court Trump’s world. The company paid $40 million for Melania Trump’s documentary, nearly three times the next highest offer, while Melania’s cut was more than 70%. Amazon also contributed $1 million to Trump’s inauguration, and Jeff Bezos blocked The Washington Post from endorsing Kamala Harris before the election. This is exactly why Amazon cannot be trusted to quietly “discuss” a Trump family project behind closed doors. The company has federal contracts, regulatory interests, labor fights, antitrust pressure, and billions at stake. When Amazon steers money and media attention toward Trump’s family, the public deserves to see it for what it is. Amazon should immediately end any consideration of Don Jr. as a host, abandon any attempt to relaunch The Apprentice, and stop using Prime Video to curry favor with Trump. Click ‘START WRITING’ to send a direct message to Jeff Bezos and the Amazon board demanding they fire Don Jr., cancel plans for an Apprentice reboot, and stop trying to bribe Trump now.
