Stop the April 1st Cut to Medicaid ABA- Providers

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

In the 2025-2026 enacted budget, Governor Hochul provided the Department of Health with the authority to reduce the Medicaid ABA Benefit by a total of 25%. The first cut (12.5%) took place in October 2025. The second cut is planned for April 1, 2025. The Medicaid ABA benefit only became available to families in 2022, while families with commercial insurance plans have had uninterrupted ABA coverage since 2012. Families who have just gotten access to medically necessary care are now at risk of losing it. In a recent survey, 73% of ABA company respondents reported that they would likely need to leave the Medicaid network if the April 1 cut to ABA goes through. Please use the form on the right to contact Governor Hochul today to remind her why ABA is important to the families you serve and why a second Medicaid rate cut could be detrimental for New York families.
