The "Legislative Council" met on May 10th to choose what bills to study for the Summer Study Session. Senator Rodric Bray and Representative Todd Huston did not vote in favor of the topic of driver’s licenses being heard. Send a letter to them to demonstrate that our power as working immigrants goes beyond these politicians and their false promises. This fight has to do with the place we deserve in Indiana and the respect and dignity that is owed to us! Since 2007, the year in which access to driver’s licenses was taken away, our families have had to deal with tickets or even have to be detained or deported. This law is a basic protection for more than 100,000 families, and the least that our entire community deserves since our workforce supports Indiana.
