	<description>We, the Law360 Union, are the nearly 300 journalists that work at Law360., a company owned by LexisNexis. We have been in contract negotiations with our employer for almost a year, but they are still refusing to respond to our benefits proposals, including parental leave and sick time–issues that are crucial to our members’ health and well-being. Currently, Law360’s union employees only receive three sick days and six weeks of parental leave. Though we go above and beyond to serve the legal community, Law360 management refuses to provide employees with more than the bare minimum. These benefits lag significantly behind our competitors; Reuters employees receive 16 weeks of paid parental leave and Bloomberg employees receive 26 weeks. Even our fellow Lexis employees receive more than double the amount of parental leave allotted to Law360 employees. Three days of sick leave is not enough to bridge the gap to short term disability, to account for Covid or most other illnesses, or for caregivers to support their families. Six weeks of parental leave is not enough time for a parent to spend with their new child. Tell Law360 and Lexis to stop ignoring these important issues at the table and respond to our benefits proposals!</description>
