Support Oregon's Essential Workers

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

For over a year, essential workers have been on the front lines of this pandemic. Not only responding to the pandemic, but keeping the state moving forward. Essential workers, who often put the health and safety of themselves and their families at risk, had the added costs to keep working and showing up during the pandemic. These workers deserve more than our thanks; they deserve fair compensation for not holding this state together but keeping us moving forward. The money that the federal government approved in the American Recovery Plan specifically allows for state legislatures to support essential workers. Unfortunately, the Oregon legislature needs to take action to pass essential worker pay and the only way we can get this to happen is if they feel the pressure.
