Support the Ratepayer Protection Act

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

BGE gas customers just saw another massive rate hike adding to a decade of rapidly rising rates. And if we don’t act fast, Washington Gas customers will be next. Since BGE launched its multi-billion dollar “Operation Pipeline,” gas delivery rates have tripled, along with BGE profits, because the program lacks cost controls and doesn’t properly prioritize safety. Washington Gas has recently launched a similar program. Please tell your state legislators to support the Ratepayer Protection Act to ensure gas utilities prioritize safety while limiting impacts to customer bills.
