AFGE is asking lawmakers to support H.R. 393 the “Federal Firefighter Pay Equity Act.” This bill was introduced by Representative Gerry Connolly (D-VA-11). This bill would ensure all of the hours worked by federal fighters are counted toward retirement, including mandatory overtime hours.
