<description>The Anti-Defamation League is a conservative organization whose “data reports” and commentaries reflect its political positions. But major U.S. news outlets treat the ADL like an expert source that is neutral and credible on topics like racial justice, education, and even national security. And although the ADL is fiercely rejected by many Jewish groups, mainstream news outlets treat it as an authority on “Jewish interests.” Investigative journalists in the independent press have been scrutinizing and debunking ADL claims for years. We urgently need major news outlets to catch up. Send a letter calling on major news outlets to apply basic journalistic standards and ethics to the ADL. Stop citing the Anti-Defamation League as a credible source!
