We are forced to pay £300 on average, even more outside London, regardless of how much energy we use. The amount has jumped recently to pay for Ofgem's failure to regulate the energy firms that went bust. People on low incomes and with prepayment meters will suffer even more this winter. Public anger and political pressure is mounting to abolish or reduce them, but Ofgem is still resisting! They are doing a review now and we need them to hear your voice.
