Tell OSHA: Enforce Amazon's Settlement

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

In 2024, Amazon signed a historic settlement with OSHA, agreeing to improve safety at its warehouses nationwide. Now, two years later under Trump’s OSHA, Amazon workers are still fighting for safer working conditions, and the agency that’s supposed to protect them has gone silent. We all know that Amazon’s productivity quotas are inhumane, pushing workers beyond capacity and vastly increasing their risk of injury. That’s why this settlement was such a huge victory for Amazon workers everywhere. Workers spoke up, documented their injuries, and pushed to hold Amazon accountable. And workers won. In December 2024, Amazon signed a settlement with OSHA and agreed to improve ergonomics at all U.S. facilities, pay a $145,000 settlement, and allow OSHA oversight at its warehouses. The settlement was a big deal. A Department of Labor official called it “the largest of its kind.” But workers are not seeing the changes they were promised. In fact, they don’t even know if Amazon is complying with the settlement–because OSHA won’t talk about it. Under Trump, OSHA has declined to disclose basic updates about Amazon’s compliance with the settlement, even delaying confirmation that it met with the company. Workers are understandably losing faith that the agency will protect them. And we’re not surprised–David Keeling, appointed by Trump to head OSHA, was previously a director of global transportation at Amazon. How can workers trust a former Amazon safety executive to keep them safe at OSHA? Take action in solidarity with Amazon workers. Demand that OSHA leaders David Keeling and Erin Gilmore answer to workers and disclose whether Amazon is complying with this historic settlement.
