Many of us never thought we would see this day. It would not have happened without the countless actions that Hudson Valley organizers have taken in solidarity with Palestine over the past three years–signing petitions, canvassing, protesting, disrupting, lobbying, dropping banners, painting signs, and attending countless meetings. While nothing can undo the devastation Israel and the United States have wreaked on Palestinian lives, we rejoice in this win for the movement and for Palestine. The fight for a free Palestine is not over, and Congressman Ryan has more work to do.
