Tell the House to reject the Big Brutal Bill

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

The Senate passed their version of the Big Brutal Bill, and now it heads back to the House, where they’re hoping to rush it through to get to Donald Trump’s desk by July 4th. The Senate version is even worse than the House version—more people losing health coverage and bigger tax breaks for the wealthy. Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) issued a statement: “This bill will give the ultra-wealthy annual tax breaks of hundreds of thousands of dollars, but low-income families will be lucky to get enough to cover groceries for a week. The reality is, this Republican plan will drive the vulnerable into misery and drag down the middle class for the benefit of big corporations and the rich. It’s getting worse with every rewrite.” The Senate version of this bill would cut SNAP and Medicaid by more than $1 trillion and lead to millions of people getting kicked off health care and nutrition, the closure of hundreds of rural hospitals, and the deaths of a projected 51,000 people each year. How many deaths are acceptable in order to provide more tax breaks to the wealthy? Click “Start Writing” to send a message to the House telling them to reject the Big Brutal Bill.
