Tell USFWS: Release Mexican Gray Wolf Packs

	<thumbnail_url>https://can2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/share_options/facebook_images/000/276/447/original/Screen_Shot_2020-12-21_at_12.13.36_PM.png</thumbnail_url>

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) is in the process of planning actions that they will take in 2021 to recover highly-endangered Mexican gray wolves, or lobos. Unfortunately, the USFWS is focusing exclusively on "cross-fostering." As its name implies, it places individual pups into existing wild wolf dens or packs. While this could result in slow, incremental wild population gains, it is not sufficient. Instead, the USFWS could and should release bonded wolf families, rather than individual pups. This would increase genetic diversity and speed the dispersal of wild wolves into additional suitable habitat. Please submit your comment before December 31st at midnight ET to support the release of Mexican gray wolf families.
