This victory was only possible because these Councilmembers listened to workers, stood up to political pressure, and chose to protect the will of the voters. Send thank-you emails to those Councilmembers to recognize their leadership and to remind them that workers are still watching closely. Many of them said during the vote that they expect a “compromise” before the next budget vote later this month.
