TELL MI LEADERS: More Transportation Options for a Sustainable Future!

Time for Michigan’s transportation system to become part of the climate solution - by creating more options for Michiganders to walk, bike, take transit, and otherwise decrease how much we have to drive. Governor Whitmer is developing a plan to build a carbon-neutral Michigan by 2050. Electric cars powered by renewable energy are part of the solution, but they’re not enough - the plan must include ways to expand non-driving mobility options in Michigan. Michigan needs to make it easier for people to safely and conveniently ride public transit, walk, and bike more and to drive less. Join the call! Tell Michigan leaders to make diversifying transportation options a big part of the MI Healthy Climate Plan and to prioritize making transit, walking, and biking easier, safer, and more convenient.
