This legislation would give frontline TSOs the same workplace rights and protections afforded to other federal workers under Title 5 of the U.S. Code. TSA, since its creation over 20 years ago, has been a tremendous success story. TSOs efficiently process more than 800 million travelers a year with courtesy and professionalism. Approximately 7,500 are veterans who wear a second uniform protecting America and ensuring the safety of the flying public. It is critical that we take action to restore the workplace rights of these dedicated public servants.
