In response to Hamas attacks on Israelis on Oct. 7, 2023, Israel’s government has launched a military invasion of Gaza and cut off and/or severely curtailed access to water, food, electricity, fuel and medical supplies for everyone in Gaza, including the millions of innocent civilians living there. This is a crushing humanitarian crisis, and millions of Palestinians and Israelis alike will continue to suffer without a ceasefire. Everyone, including all people living in Israel and Palestine, should have safety and freedom, but corrupt leaders are driving violent agendas to hold power. We reject their excuses for mass civilian deaths and suffering, and we demand our elected officials act now to reduce the level of violence and protect innocent people suffering under these failed policies.
