That means workers have few rights, fear speaking up, and have zero protections from bosses and employers who push out high performers whose ethics and competence pose a threat. Imagine the devastation to workers who live paycheck-to-paycheck. Constructive discharge (pushing workers out or bullying) has a discriminatory impact. The Secure Jobs Act would give employees: Advanced notice of termination A good reason for the termination A chance to improve In 2020, the New York City Council passed the Fair Workweek Law that gave just cause protections for fast food workers. Let&#x27;s expand these necessary protections to all New York City workers so we can make workplaces psychologically safer. Join me.</description>
