Youth Voting Rights Act

	<thumbnail_url>https://can2-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/letters/photos/000/281/405/normal/Untitled_design_(32).png</thumbnail_url>

The rights of young voters are not being protected/fulfilled! Since its ratification in 1971, the 26th Amendment has pronounced the minimum voting age to be 18. However, young people (18-24) currently face many barriers to vote, making it difficult to participate in our democratic process. By establishing polling sites on state university campuses, making student I.D. an acceptable voter identification, and ensuring those approaching the age of 18 are able to preregister to vote, along with many others, the Youth Voting Act addresses these barriers and works to ensure young voters are not disadvantaged or discriminated against. Take Action Today! Contact your Congressional Representative today and urge them to cosponsor the Youth Voting Act!
