After months of delay, Texas SBOE finally renewed a high school level American Indian/Native Studies course. The course is an elective meant for 10-12th graders. All Texas districts should take the necessary steps to adopt the course locally. The Texas SBOE now has the opportunity to make the course a permanent Social Studies elective. Please help me call on the Texas SBOE to take this important step. Please continue to sign and share this petition. #NativeStudiesNow #HonorNativeKnowledge
