Bin lorries struggle in the ice, the pavements are treacherous and access to the schools is difficult. Allington needs to be supported during snow and ice. Requests for salt bins are met with a blanket refusal. Local Green campaigner, Rachel Rodwell: "I live in Allington and know just how difficult and dangerous it is to get around in the snow and ice. Let's put some community pressure on KCC to help us." Cllr Stuart Jeffery (Green): "I am amazed that KCC seems to have forgotten Allington.
