On the evening of May 2, Politico shared a leaked draft opinion from the U.S. Supreme Court about the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case. The leaked document shows that the Supreme Court is ready to ignore decades of precedent and overturn Roe v. Wade — although this is outrageous, we’ve been planning for a situation like this. No court will keep us from accessing abortion care. We are pissed off and unstoppable. Access to abortion care will be determined at the local level, so we must turn attention to local organizing, policy change, and abortion funding.
