Clear the swamp, launch the billionaire boycott

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

Vote now There is something talked about that is not being done, namely to clear the swamp. Egg prices and food prices are climbing, medicaid and numerous aids to support the poor or the veterans or even homeowners are being pulled back. Behind this looms a gorwing urgency which is to be made worse, the deterioration brought on by not going to renewables from fossil fuels. Our planet is warming and everywhere you look, the impact of the growing fossil fuels threatens our existence in often two ways. It is a threat multiplier, namely it raises the threat of conflict, of violence and that calls for more militarization and that costs. Now in the US and Europe and Russia and China global warming is playing a a role in worsening conflicts. Who does a President look hungrily at Greenland or the Panama. Why is Nato urged to expand its budget. But fossil fuel increases are also a loss and damage multiplier. Poorer or middle income people struggling to pay bills for food or schooling or homes or retirement are increasingly being pushed over the edge by global warming. Consider why home insurance is rising or refused in California, or Floraida or European coasts. Consider what it means if floods, or fires, or droughts or hurricanes come, doews that make things cheaper. What we see is the beneficiaries of fossil fuel advocates, the richer oligarchs have entered government. One senator notes that behind the three richest oligarchs of the planet at a presidential inauguration were 13 other billionaires appointed to lead the charge to cut back in the very dire needs people have, either for medicaid, or social security, or education, or veteran benefits, or reducing fossil fuel emisions. The lattger will come ultimately as the most costly, not just a threat or loss or damage multiplier but of human existence. The most powerful response we call for, where we have leverage is to threaten the greddy pocketbooks of billionaires is boycott them. The first stage has begun when people say no to higher egg prices or food. The next bigger step is to boycott directly not many billionaires but to single them out. There is power in focus. We therefore launch here the start of a boycott, urging people to chose where the focussed boycott should begin. Thereafter based on reults, we will begun not just a countrywide but global boycott which expands to engage the many.
