We, the undersigned, demand the immediate release of Jose Palma Mejia - a loving father, business owner, and member of the Southeast Side community. Jose Palma Mejia was working as a newspaper distributor to raise his two US citizen daughters when his life came to a halt. He was stopped by ICE during operation Midway Blitz and has been detained for months in Mississippi. Jose's daughters (11 and 16 years old) are living through a traumatic and precarious situation: their mother was deported months ago, and they're now living with their half brother. It's imperative we reunite them with their father, so they can be TOGETHER - not hundreds of miles away.
