We include the journalists who power Signal’s nonprofit newsrooms across Ohio. Together, we are forming a union. We’re proud of the meaningful stories Signal Ohio has told and the civic muscle we’ve built with residents through our newsrooms and their Documenters programs. We care deeply about the communities we serve and the journalism we produce. Many of us are founding members of our newsrooms, the first of which launched nearly three years ago, and all of us are committed to seeing them succeed. As the organization grows, we are unionizing across newsrooms and teams to ensure our mission and vision align with employees’ realities. We’re looking for a seat at the table to work with leadership to usher in a collaborative next chapter for Signal Ohio – together.
