This has created a substantial and unnecessary financial hardship on employees and raises serious concerns regarding operational efficiency, and environmental responsibility. We respectfully ask for consideration of Emergency Remote Work options for Albuquerque-area and other commuter employees that live outside of the Santa Fe areas, and whose duties can reasonably be performed remotely by July 8, 2026. We ask that employees that live outside of the Santa Fe area to utilize ERW, and those that are currently authorized to work in ABQ to be able to remain in ABQ and not be required to commute to Santa Fe.
